How much does a wedding in Corfu cost?

The short answer

Across the five Corfu venues in our collection, published starting prices run from €1,400 to €14,800. That gap is not a quality difference. At Angsana Corfu Resort & Spa, venue hire starts from €1,400 — that is the ground and the setting, with in-house catering, a licensed bar and a sound system on site and charged separately. At Corfu Imperial, the published figure is €14,800 for 50 wedding guests, and that one includes catering and drinks. The first number is the start of a bill. The second is most of one.

So the useful question is never which venue looks cheapest. It is what sits underneath the figure, and how many of the lines you will still be buying afterwards. Every quote you receive from the island should be read the same way.

The published figures, side by side

Read down the last column and the ranking rearranges itself. The €12,000 at The Courti Estate buys three nights of an entire estate; the €1,400 at Angsana buys a setting for an afternoon. Neither is better value in the abstract. They answer different questions.

What actually moves the number

1. How many people you are feeding. Capacity across our Corfu venues runs from 50 to 500, and the choice sets your ceiling before anything else does. Corfu Imperial caps at 50 guests, which is the whole point of it — the €14,800 is priced for exactly that party. The Courti Estate takes ceremonies and receptions from 20 up to 500, and Grecotel Danilia Village from 20 up to 400. Angsana holds ceremonies from 10 up to 250, and Ekaterini Estate up to 250. If your list is long, two venues on the island can take it without strain; if it is short, one of them will price the day around you.

2. Whether catering is inside the figure or beside it. Only one Corfu venue we list publishes a per-head catering rate: The Courti Estate, where in-house catering starts at €75 per person, the bar is licensed and there is no corkage charge. That single figure is the most useful number on this page, because per-head cost is what multiplies. Corfu Imperial folds catering and drinks into its €14,800. Angsana and Danilia Village cook in house and quote separately. Ekaterini Estate works with recommended caterers, so there you are signing two contracts rather than one.

3. Exclusive use. Three of the five hold the whole place for you: Danilia Village, Ekaterini Estate and The Courti Estate. Exclusivity is why the estate figures open higher — you are not renting a lawn, you are renting an address for several days. Danilia Village is the unusual one, a traditional Corfiot village made private for the day, with two open-air squares, an old Corfiot Orthodox church and the largest indoor events hall on Corfu inside its walls.

4. Whether your guests sleep there. Four of the five put beds on site, and that quietly decides your transport budget. Ekaterini Estate sleeps 16 across 8 deluxe double bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom. The Courti Estate sleeps 18 across 9 bedrooms — all of which must be booked, though guests can pay for their rooms individually, which is a real difference to how the money lands. Angsana and Corfu Imperial are resorts, with rooms your guests book themselves. Danilia Village is the exception: no rooms inside the walls, but it stands less than 5km from Grecotel resorts, including Corfu Imperial.

5. How many nights. Two of the five set a minimum stay, and both ask for 3 nights — Ekaterini Estate and The Courti Estate. Courti is explicit that its minimum night requirement rises in high season, and its €12,000 is a low-season, midweek figure. A minimum stay is not a penalty; it is the difference between a wedding day and a wedding weekend, and it is usually where the welcome dinner and the farewell lunch come from.

What €3,000 buys at Danilia Village

Most venues will not itemise. Danilia Village does, and it is worth reading because it shows you the shape of a ceremony budget. The €3,000 package covers the table dressed in white for the exchange of vows, a floral centrepiece and candles for the ceremony table, a fresh floral archway or a white gazebo dressed with flowers, seating for friends and family, a bouquet for the bride and 2 smaller bouquets for the bridesmaids, boutonnieres for the groom and best man, rose petals and rice for tossing, music, and sparkling wine and canapés for all guests after the ceremony.

Put that beside a venue that quotes hire alone and you can see what you would otherwise be sourcing yourself. It is also the clearest illustration of the rule at the top of this page: two figures, both real, both honest, measuring different amounts of wedding.

The discounts and the details that shift a quote

Angsana publishes an early booking benefit: 10% off food and beverage charges and 30% off venue rental fees. On a wedding where catering is the largest line, 10% off the food is worth more than it sounds, and booking early is the only lever on this page you can pull without changing anything about the day itself.

Fireworks are permitted at Corfu Imperial and at Danilia Village — worth knowing early, because it is a yes-or-no question rather than a negotiation. Four of the five venues are licensed for marriage, so the legal ceremony can happen where the party does; The Courti Estate's record lists a private chapel among the courtyard buildings but not a marriage licence, so ask how you would make it legal there. None of the five records states a curfew. That is a question for your first call: ask when music must stop, whether that differs indoors, and what the neighbours can hear. At Danilia Village the answer is shaped by the village being yours and the events hall being indoors; at a resort it is shaped by the guests in the rooms above.

Getting everyone there

Corfu is unusually kind on transfers, which keeps a line most destination budgets suffer from small. Ekaterini Estate is 8km from Corfu Airport, Corfu Imperial is 12km, and Angsana is 14km from Corfu International Airport — Ioannis Kapodistrias. Short transfers mean fewer coaches, shorter waits, and guests who arrive at the welcome drinks rather than at dinner.

Which one for which wedding

A small wedding, priced whole. Corfu Imperial, on the private Kommeno peninsula overlooking three sandy coves, at €14,800 for 50 guests with catering and drinks in. Vows on the private island of Nissaki, beside the pool area, or indoors at Aristos. You know the number early, which is worth a great deal.

A large wedding with the place to yourselves. Danilia Village up to 400, or The Courti Estate up to 500 — an 18th-century Venetian estate with a courtyard manor house, a large olive press, 10 acres of olive groves and a 100 sqm infinity pool, plus an organic farm on site supplying the kitchen and olive oil cold pressed from the estate's own trees.

A house for the weekend. Ekaterini Estate, hilltop and private, from €13,000 for up to 50 guests including a 3-night stay for 10, with a small chapel near the main entrance and terraces and lawns that carry up to 250 if the list grows.

Beach vows and an indoor reception. Angsana, from €1,400, with ceremonies at Emerald Beach or on the Infinity Pool Deck and Amalia Hall as the indoor option when the party is large.
